VMA's, FNO and New York Fashion Week..oh my!

So many events, so little time! Last night was not only the start of New York Fashion Week, but also Fashion’s Night Out and the VMAs!

At Chic Studios we are in a glamour-induced coma between the performances of Demi Lovato and Alicia Keys at the VMA’s and the models strutting down the runways of BCBGMAXAZRIA and Tadashi Shoji, yesterday was like a dream come true for beauty lovers like yours truly.

At the VMA’s, we LOVED these LOOKS:

Rihanna debuted her new ultra-short black pixie cut and paired it with a show stopping matte red lip.

Taylor Swift’s white suit wasn’t the only sleek thing she rocked last night. Her hair was smooth and glossy.

Holland Roden in a soft, wavy up-do with volume at the crown.

New York fashionistas had an array of stylish events to attend last night at Fashion’s Night Out. Some of our favorites were at Beauty and Essex where curator and “Gold Girl” Lauren Kaminsky was on hand to showcase different jewelry collections (with special offers and cocktails!) and BCBG where shoppers were styled and entered to win a $1,000 BCBGMAXAZRIA wardrobe just by uploading their new stylish looks to Instagram.

Although every show is sure to impress, some of the events we are most looking forward to during Fashion Week include Rebecca Minkoff at Theatre (09/07), Diane von Furstenberg at Theatre (09/09), Reem Acra at Stage (09/10) and Rachel Zoe at Studio (09/12).
